We design new tools and adapt old tools for almost every workshop we run and every project we deliver. This means that our toolkit is always evolving. We wanted to share some of the tools and methods we use most often as part of a useful do-it-yourself guide that you can pick up and use in your own projects. We’ve grouped our toolkit under four themes – Discovery, Definition, Development and Delivery. The themes are based on the four stages of the Double Diamond, the design process developed by the Design Council and adopted as a standard by designers all over the world.
From journey mapping, shadowing and personas to prototyping and SWOTs; these tools encourage divergent and convergent thinking to help you improve products, services and environments by fully understanding the problem your are trying to fix before testing solutions in a safe and controlled way.
If you like what you see but would like some help to find out how to make best use of the tools and methods, please feel free to drop us a line.
