Turning a Problem into an Opportunity

Yesterday we held a wrap up session with the sponsors of our affordable warmth concept. 

When we began looking at the wicked problem the issues we found were:

  • No clear ownership of issue
  • No easily understood definition 
  • Lots of valuable - but ultimately disconnected activity
  • Lack of strategic partnerships in place
  • Lack of training or awareness for colleagues
  • An asset focused investment plan rather than person focused 
  • Repeat engineer visits with insufficent escalation to resolve issue
Our approach to this? Work with colleagues, customers and partners to turn each of these to an opportunity. Reframing the problem and designing a product around it
